Threatened by raptors and vermin such as stoats and foxes who prey on the young birds and eggs, the grouse has recently been battling another threat called heather beetle which destroys its food source. This excellent model of a grouse is superbly executed in tiger ironstone. The unmistakable stance of the bird is well portrayed and the carver has made full use of the striations in the ironstone to do justice to his subject.

Therefore you need some method of warming wine bottles to room temperature to drink them at their best.
