This piece of solid craftsmanship has been inspired by the solid practicality of the English tradition. However, it is no rough inn-keeperÆs trestle but a hand-crafted table made to the very highest standards. The carefully turned legs alone are fine examples of skilled woodworking undertaken by dedicated artisans. There is no MDF or plywood here, just carefully selected and seasoned ash - the most versatile and attractively grained English wood. The table has been tastefully antiquated and distressed to give a wonderful aged patina which makes it look as if it has enjoyed years of careful waxing.
